About our Dental Team

Dr. Joseph Castor
Dr. Castor brings his 20 years of dental experience to his practice. He is a graduate with honors of Temple University School of Dentistry and been a resident in the Naples area since 2008. He was a well-respected member of the Temple University faculty, as well as a consultant member of the Northeastern Regional Board of Dental Examiners. He also holds dental licenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He previously owned two upscale Philadelphia area general dentistry practices. He has been providing elite quality restorative dentistry since 1996.
Dr. Castor is certified in Laser Dentistry, Invisalign®, and Six Month Smiles®.
He has received accolates in Esthetic Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, and all aspects of Implant Dentistry. He has worked with and is versed in most dental implant systems.
Alexis
Registered Dental Hygienist
Alexis joined our team in October 2021. Alexis was born in Long Island, New York, and her family relocated to beautiful, sunny Marco Island in 1995.
​
Alexis is a graduate of The University of Florida. She then furthered her education and graduated from Dental Hygiene School in 2011 from Florida Southwestern State College.
​
She brings 13 years of dental experience to our practice. She loves building a friendly rapport with patients and strives to make each visit as comfortable as possible.
​
Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Florida Gators!

Shana
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shana joined our team in August 2018. She is originally from New Jersey, and has been in Naples since 2018. Shana started her dental career in 2008 as a dental assistant, then graduated from Bergen Community College's Dental Hygiene program in 2012,
​
Shana is known for her relaxed and gentle, yet thorough approach to dental hygiene. She enjoys interacting with and educating patients every day.
​
Outside of work, Shana enjoys spending with with her husband and two children.

Denise
Practice Administrator
Denise joined our practice in April 2014, when the practice opened its doors to Naples. She has lived in Naples since 1977, and is a graduate of St. John Neumann High School. Her career in dentistry began in 1992, when she earned certification by the AAOMS (American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) as a chairside surgical assistant. She is versed in all aspects of the dental practice.
She prides herself in patient care, from the front desk to the back operatory. Patient satisfaction something she strives for on a daily basis.
When not working she enjoys spending time with husband and 2 daughters.
Cindy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cindy joined our team in June 2020. Cindy is originally from Connecticut and has been a hygienist for more than 27 years. She moved to Florida 7 years ago. Cindy taught Dental Hygiene in CT. and upon moving to Florida she was the Program Director at Lorenzo Walker Technical College in Naples for the Dental Assisting program.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her Bengal cats.
Terri
Registered Dental Hygienist
Terri joined our team in October 2021.
​
Terri has called Naples home for the past 28 years moving from the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts where she attended hygiene school in Springfield.
​
In New England she worked for a Periodontist and a Prosthodontist.
​
She spent most of her career in a North Naples office until the dentist she worked for retired.
​
Terri is dedicated to delivering optimal care in a very individualized holistic approach that fosters preventative and life long dental health.
​
Terri's favorite part about dental hygiene is being able to form personal long lasting relationships with her patients.
​
Terri is proud to be part of the Castor Team that treats everyone like family.
​
When Terri is not at work, she and her husband, who is from Denmark love to travel and enjoy all the Naples life style has to offer with her family including her son Casey and his wife Che and her 2 grandchildren Cisco and Codaa,
​
Terri's personal passion is health and nutrition.
​

Tina
Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Tina joined our team in February 2015. She has lived in Southwest Florida nearly all of her life. She is a graduate of Cypress Lake High School and earned her certification in dentistry in Naples, Florida.
She has been a part of the local dental field since 1992 and understands many facets of dentistry from hear years of experience.
Tina has a calm and patient nature, and is devoted herself to work and her family. When not working,
Tina enjoys many outdoor activities from living in beautiful Naples, Florida.

Amanda
Dental Assistant
Amanda joined out team in February 2022. She las lived in Florida since 2010, and is originally from Havana, Cuba. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
​
She studies at Lorenzo Walker Technical High School, and has been in the Dental field since 2019. She is very proficient in modern dental technology. She works great alongside Dr. Castor and the rest of our team to provide patients with a high level of comfort and care.
​
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves traveling whenever she has a chance.
